Food & Drink Fest Delights Your Senses

Taste, Smell and Sound!

 For anyone who has ever attended the Food & Drink Fest...the Festival with Taste, you know that it is a festival jam packed with must-try restaurants, local and international wines, craft beers, decadent desserts...basically all things delicious!

But what sets the stage and creates the atmosphere for enjoying the plethora of culinary sensations available, is the live musical entertainment that livens up the Coliseum throughout the entire event.  This year Food & Drink Fest boasts a top notch and eclectic group of talented musicians for you to relax and listen to while sipping a fine wine or craft beer in the cafe areas at Food & Drink Fest. Or the music may inspire you to break out your best dance moves as the night progresses!  Thanks to the great music, the main piazza area always seems to turn into a spontaneous dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights.  We expect nothing short of the same great atmosphere this year now that we are at Copps Coliseum; an arena renowned for housing fabulous musical talent!

Below is a brief outline of some of the talent at Food & Drink Fest...the Festival with Taste!

A returning favourite this year is local violinist, Grenville Pinto.  Watching Grenville perform is awe-inspiring, as he astounds audiences but playing everything from Classical, to Zeppelin to the Black Eyed Peas on his violin. ``Every year I field calls before Food & Drink Fest from the public asking me if `that violin guy` will be back in the show and when he is playing.`` says Shannon, a member of the Food & Drink Fest team.  He is so popular people are actually planning when they are coming to the show around Grenville`s performance times!

Other musical returning favourites this year are The Jamie Petrie Band, who keeps the party going on Saturday night, the amazing musicianship of Jesse O`Brien and Adrian Raso, a musician known as one of the greatest guitar players in Ontario.

Food & Drink Fest is proud to announce that new this year, Carlo DiBattista and The Powerhouse Band will be live on stage on VIP Night. According to Jay Higgins, Producer of Food & Drink Fest ``Powerhouse Band is one of the longest running and most popular and prolific bands in the region.  Their performance is going to be such as treat for the exhibitors and patrons alike on VIP Night.  Not to mention that I get to be a fan at my own show!`` Powerhouse Band will be on live on the Food & Drink Stage Friday April 9^th 8:00pm-8:30pm and 9:15pm-10:00pm
